MIKOSHI PARADE AT ENNICHISAI 2015

The burning sun didn't stop me to go to Ennichisai, an annual Japanese festival held in an area called Little Tokyo, Blok M. I'm not really interested in anime and those kind of stuffs but I'm into Japanese traditional culture, so I came there for the food and to see Mikoshi parade – a portable shrine that is believed as a vehicle for deity that will be carried around by groups of people from various ages. Whilst bearing a mikoshi, they are chanting "wasshoi!" that means "unifying together".
