ARTE 2014

Aphrodita, Tissa and I went to ARTE, an Indonesian Art Festival held in Jakarta Convention Center. Not only visual arts were exhibited, but also culinary arts, performing arts, art market, and films. 

DAY 1

On the first day we went to see the art exhibition and tried Chef Odie Djamil's Macaron Duren (which is sehr lekker) and Choco Caviar.

DAY 2
I won the special screening ticket of The Raid 2: Berandal! The movie was brutally awesome.

DAY 3 - Last day of ARTE
We tried Chef Adrian Ishak (a molecular gastronomy chef and also Namaaz Dining owner)'s arum manis wrapped in an Rp100000 edible paper and a sour drink with.. literally frozen water. By the time we pour mineral water into the glass, the water froze - almost like an ice cube. How cool is that?

And we watched music performances by Goodnight Electric, Jogja Hiphop Foundation and Rock 'n Roll Mafia. We had a good time, indeed :-)
